Waltham 3/0 pocket watch 7 Jewel A.W.W. Co. hunting movement No. 9359869 in an good B.W. Co. 14K yellow gold hunting case No. 999288. Movement has a good single sunk enamel dial with black Roman numerals and black hands. Dial has a tiny feather line from the 7:00 position to the 8:00 position across the second track. The inside back lid of the case is engraved J.R.C. to E.G.D. December 25, 1901 in script. The front and back lids of the case are engraved in a combination of engine turned and floral design. Front lid has tiny shield engraved EGD in script. There is a minute cut in the frame and one on the back lid. Apparently, someone has tested this case for gold which was an exercise in futility as the case is warranted to be 14K U.S.A. Needs a crystal as it is missing.
